MzGo started with a simple frustration: why is moving goods across fast-growing African cities still such a struggle?
As entrepreneurs ourselves, we had lived through the chaos — unreliable transport, endless bargaining, cash disputes, and no visibility once goods left the pickup point. Too often, you were left hoping your delivery would arrive, with no accountability if it didn’t.
We saw how ride-hailing transformed personal transport and asked a simple question: why hasn’t logistics had the same level of structure, transparency, and reliability?
So in 2024, we built MzGo — a platform designed to bring order to urban logistics. Verified drivers. Transparent pricing. Real-time tracking. Secure delivery confirmation.
We launched in Nairobi — one of Africa’s most complex logistics environments. Dense neighborhoods, informal markets, unpredictable traffic, and every type of vehicle imaginable. If a system can work here, it can work anywhere.
What started with mkokoteni operators and pickup trucks is growing into a full-spectrum logistics network — supporting everything from small parcels to bulky goods across entire cities.
